A Fun-Filled Week

Year 4 have had a busy and exciting week of learning! In Maths, the children have been exploring fractions and developing their understanding through a range of practical activities. In English, we focused on newspaper articles, looking at their key features and how information is presented clearly and effectively. In Geography, the children wrote a lovely information text about Chembakolli, showing great care and enthusiasm in their work. Our Science lessons focused on the water cycle, where pupils enjoyed learning about evaporation, condensation and precipitation.

To top it all off, Year 4 took part in an archery workshop on Monday, which they absolutely loved. The children threw themselves into the experience with fantastic focus and enthusiasm, making it a real highlight of the week!

Year 4 also took part in an exciting India workshop, where the children enjoyed dancing and dressing up whilst learning about Hindu gods and goddesses. They were fully engaged throughout the session and showed great curiosity and respect as they explored different aspects of Indian culture and beliefs. It was a vibrant, memorable experience that really brought their learning to life.
