This week the children explored non-fiction texts and used them to write their own information all about new life in spring, including animals coming out of hibernation. Their writing was full of interesting facts and great vocabulary.
For Global Recycling Day, we learnt all about the importance of looking after our planet. The children showed fantastic independence as they recycled toilet rolls to create an animal of their choice - the results were amazing!
We also had a brilliant class discussion about why chocolate windows might not be the best idea! The children came up with some fantastic reasons, including that they would melt in the sun, we would want to eat them and our mums might not be too happy!
To finish the week, we had lots of fun celebrating Red Nose Day, enjoying activities together and helping to support a great cause.
Another week full of creativity, laughter and learning! ❤️
