A Shared Moment of Reflection with Bishop Michael

Hornbeam Class took part in a special and memorable collective worship as we joined a live Zoom session alongside many other schools across the region.

The worship was led by Bishop Michael Beasley from the Diocese of Bath and Wells, as part of a shared celebration of the Year of Prayer. It was a wonderful opportunity for pupils to feel part of a wider community, coming together in reflection and worship.

Throughout the session, the children listened thoughtfully, joined in with prayers and reflected on the importance of prayer in everyday life. It was fantastic to see such respectful participation and engagement, as well as a real sense of connection with other schools.

This meaningful experience helped to deepen pupils’ understanding of collective worship and reinforced our school values, reminding us of the power of coming together in faith and reflection.
