Christmas week in Year 5 has been a busy and enjoyable way to finish the term. The children were delighted by a visit from Father Christmas and were very grateful for the new gifts for the classroom. They also spent time making Christmas decorations, including dramatic paper bag star ornaments, which helped to create a festive atmosphere throughout the week.

There was no shortage of energy as the children took part in some enthusiastic reindeer games, as well as enjoying sweet treats and popcorn. One of the highlights of the week was a morning trip to see Beauty and the Beast at the Westlands Entertainment Venue. This trip was kindly organised by our fantastic PTA and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

The children have worked hard and embraced every activity with enthusiasm, making it a fitting end to a very full term. They are now ready for a well-earned break.

We wish all our children and families a blessed Christmas and New Year. We look forward to welcoming everyone back next term for another exciting and productive term ahead.
