Capacity and Volume

In Maths, we have been learning about capacity and volume. The children began by estimating how many cups it would take to fill different containers before testing their predictions. They enjoyed seeing how close their estimates were to the actual results!

We then took on an extra challenge by ordering a range of containers from those we thought would hold the least to the most. After testing, we discovered that our predictions were not always correct, which led to lots of discussion and learning. Although our estimates were not always accurate, it was a fun and engaging way to explore capacity and develop our understanding.
