The children had a fantastic hands-on experience during our Victorian workshop. They had the opportunity to dress up in Victorian clothes and explore a range of Victorian toys and artefacts, helping them to step back in time and imagine what life was like during that era.

They were fascinated to see a zoetrope in action and learn how early animation worked. Inspired by this, the children then made their very own thaumatrope, discovering how simple images can create the illusion of movement. It was an engaging and memorable way to bring our history learning to life.
