  • Careers Week

We have just finished an exciting Careers Week where we were lucky to welcome four wonderful visitors who helped us think about what we might like to do when we grow up.

Chloe, a community nurse, visited us and brought a pulse oximeter for us to try so we could see how it measures oxygen levels and pulse. Luke, a tennis coach, showed us the different types of balls and rackets used for different ages and stages of learning tennis. Miss Bleach, an artist, shared the beautiful books she creates and sells as kits so that others can make their own. She even showed us how to make a clever “six books in one” design. Finally, Tora, a nurse, showed us how to apply bandages and even bandaged some of us up!

It was a fantastic week that helped us learn about lots of different jobs and the skills people use in their careers. A big thank you to all of our visitors for giving their time to inspire us.
