In Science, we learnt the new term transparency and explored what it means for a material to be transparent or opaque. The children investigated how light passes through different materials and discussed examples from everyday life.

To bring our learning to life, we made our own glasses using different coloured transparent lenses. The children loved looking through the lenses to see how the colours changed what they could see. It was a fun and practical way to deepen our understanding of transparency.
