We carried out a science investigation to find out which material would be best for a waterproof coat. The children tested a range of materials to see how well they repelled water and recorded their results.
Afterwards, we discussed our findings and thought carefully about which materials would be most suitable. We discovered that even if some materials were waterproof, they would not always be the best choice for a coat, as they might be too stiff, uncomfortable, or impractical.
It was a great opportunity to develop our investigation skills and think like scientists!
