  • Year 5 Reflect at St James’ Church

Year 5 enjoyed a reflective visit to St James’ Church, exploring how Christians understand God’s holiness and love.

Year 5 visited Reverend David Keen at St James’ Church as part of our RE learning on the Christian belief that God is both holy and loving. Reverend Keen warmly welcomed the children and guided them through the life of the church, explaining its services, traditions, and the role it plays within the local community. He also led thoughtful discussions about how Christians understand God’s holiness as His perfect nature, and His love as the care and compassion He shows to all people. The visit brought our classroom learning to life and gave pupils a deeper understanding of these key aspects of the Christian faith in a meaningful and reflective setting.
