  • Hornbeam Take on Bollywood!

Hornbeam Class took part in an energetic Indian dance workshop for Interfaith Week, learning a full routine and thoroughly enjoying every moment.

Last week, Hornbeam Class took part in a vibrant Indian dance workshop as part of our Interfaith Week celebrations. In just 20 minutes, the children learnt an entire Indian dance routine, practising traditional movements and rhythms with energy, focus, and huge smiles on their faces. The instructor guided them through each step, encouraging them to express the music through their actions while introducing some of the cultural meanings behind the dance style.

The children were fully engaged from start to finish, showing great teamwork, enthusiasm, and confidence as they performed the routine together. It was a joy to watch them embracing something new and celebrating a different cultural tradition in such a positive way. The workshop provided a fun and memorable opportunity for pupils to broaden their understanding of Indian culture through music, movement, and shared experience.
