This week, our class took part in an exciting Egyptian Workshop, giving the children the opportunity to explore different aspects of Ancient Egyptian life through a range of fun, hands-on activities. During the workshop, the children designed their own Egyptian scarab beetles, excavated replica tombs to uncover hidden artefacts, and made their own Egyptian bread using a simple traditional-style recipe. They also explored Egyptian writing and hieroglyphics by creating their own names in hieroglyphs and enjoyed a variety of interactive games and challenge activities linked to Egyptian daily life, food, and culture.
