This week Pear Class enjoyed reading Sharing a Shell and used the story to help identify nouns, verbs and adjectives. The children then used their ideas to describe a rock pool, creating some lovely pieces of writing.

The children showed great reasoning skills in maths, thinking carefully about word problems, working out whether we needed to add or subtract to find the answers. 

One of the highlights of the week was making our very own fruit desserts. The children had a wonderful time preparing them, took them home to taste, and then came back the next day ready to evaluate what they liked and what they might change.

We ended the week on a high by completing our sponsored run and enjoying a fantastic performance of Joseph by Year 4 - it was brilliant!
