We were delighted to welcome a housing officer, two police officers and a physiotherapist into our classroom. Each visitor spoke passionately about their role, sharing what their job involves, the skills they need and the pathways they took to get there.

The children asked thoughtful and engaging questions, showing great curiosity about the day-to-day responsibilities, challenges and rewards of each career. It was particularly inspiring for pupils to hear real-life experiences and begin to consider the wide range of opportunities available to them in the future.

This experience not only helped to broaden the children’s understanding of different careers, but also encouraged them to reflect on their own interests, strengths and aspirations.
