Yeovil Rivers Community Trust Visit

Eco Club welcomed some visitors from Yeovil Rivers Community Trust to help them assess our school pond since their last visit to us. They talked about improvements that we could make to our pond area and ways that we can encourage more wildlife into the area. The Eco Club members had some great ideas about how to improve the area and we look forward to working with Yeovil Rivers Community Trust in school again very soon.

Poems

This week the children wrote poems as part of a competition within Eco Club. The winner will get their poem in the school newsletter!

Our Roles and Responsibilities 

This week the Eco members discussed what their roles and responsibilities were within the school. We talked about how we can look after the school gardens and pond, and what we can do within the school to protect the environment. We were very impressed with their knowledge! Well done Eco Club.
