Prefects - Year 6 only

When children reach Year 6, class elections take place for Year 6 Prefects.  Being a Prefect comes with the additional responsibility of supporting our younger learners and the school community with events and activities.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a 'Reading Buddy' to younger pupils, helping them improve their reading skills.
• Assist with breaktimes to ensure children are accessing equipment and playing fairly; support a class during play organising activities.
• Assist in organising and leading assemblies
• Supervise pupils in the hall during lunch
• Collect donations on Non-Uniform Days
• Assist school office staff
• Maintain the library by organising books
• Welcome visitors by greeting and providing information
