PTA
Our school benefits enormously from the Parents and Teachers Association. You are automatically a member and PTA members are actively involved in all aspects of school life and do a magnificent job in raising funds for the benefit of our children (for example: whole school visit to a Pantomime, animal visits to the school, class presents at Christmas) through a programme of enjoyable community events such as our Summer Fete. There is an annual AGM and monthly meetings which are advertised on newsletters and our website. Please feel free to come along, you will be warmly welcomed.

PTA Discos - Feb 2023
School Discos - Friday 24th February 2023
The timings for the discos are below:
Reception & Year 1 - 2.15pm - 3.15pm
Years 2, 3 & 4 - 3.20pm - 4.45pm
Years 5 & 6 - 5pm - 6.30pm
Tickets are £3 in advance (non-refundable) and will include unlimited squash/water and a bag of crisps for all children; therefore, there is no need for children to bring any money with them to the disco!
Reception, Years 1 - 4 may come to school in non-uniform & Years 5 & 6 should come to school in school uniform.
Please complete the slip below and return it with the correct money (no change will be given) in an envelope, clearly marked “SCHOOL DISCO, YOUR CHILD’S NAME AND CLASS” by Monday 20th February at the latest. We must also be provided with a contact telephone number for the day of the disco in case of emergency. Only children from the relevant years may attend the appropriate disco. Please note that for child safety reasons, once the discos have started, the doors will be locked for the duration of each disco.
Reception & Year 1 classes can be collected as normal, in the playground at 3:20pm.
Year 2, 3 & 4 children who are attending the disco, will go straight from their classrooms into the hall at the end of the day so no need to collect in between but please collect from the playground at 4:45pm.
For Year 5 & 6 pupils, please arrive via the side entrance to the hall and collect your child from the playground (1st set of steps).
Collecting your child:
Please note that all children must be collected by an adult. No children will be allowed to leave the building on their own. Your co-operation is much appreciated.
No mobile phones please - anyone bringing a phone will need to hand this in to teaching staff until collected at the end of the disco.

The PTA held another successful Christmas Bazaar this year. The total raised so far is £4,462!! A massive thank you to everyone who gave up their time to help in the setting up of the Bazaar and to everyone who donated!
