Week 3

After a busy week, it has been a real pleasure to see and also hear how you are all getting on at home with your learning. We understand you maybe unable to attend some live lessons, so if you need to revisit any lessons, these can be found via Teams and also on the Home Learning pages.
A particular thank you to parents and carers for all of your help with the home learning and the comments and feedback following our live online lessons this week. They are very much appreciated. Any further comments on what has worked well or suggestions for further developments can be made using the Yr6 email.

Best wishes

An 8 part series that you may be interested in watching to support your learning of nature in the West Country. It also links nicely to the Big Schools' Birdwatch that we will be taking part in.

The Big Garden Bird Watch

The RSPB are running a 'Big Garden Bird Watch' for you to take part in between the 29th-31st January. It is a survey to help the RSPB keep track of our local bird species and to collect data on how many birds are seen by members of the public. All you have to do is go onto the website, sign up to request a survey pack then spend an hour recording any birds that you can see in your garden. For more details please visit the website at

Arithmetic Test

Parents, you should be able to download and use the Powerpoint using the email address the school gave to you (the one starting with 14). If you have difficulty accessing the French Virtual Classroom, please send an email to yr6@preston.ppat365.org and we will do our best to get you sorted. * Some links do use YouTube for some activities. There is also a PDF version available.
