Book Club (Year 3)

Welcome to our club page!

This week in book club, we started the session by sharing the books we love and why. The book we are going to be reading throughout the sessions is called 'Akimbo and the Elephants'. We read the first two chapters together and after that we had just enough time to make some lovely bookmarks. 
 

In the up-coming sessions we will be doing lots of fun activities relating to Akimbo and the Elephants, including making African sunset landscapes, creating an elephant fact file and designing a 'wanted' poster for poachers. 

In book club today, we started making some beautiful African landscapes. We tore up strips of coloured paper to make a sunset and next week we will stick on silhouettes of elephants!
