After speaking to parents this week, we have decided to extend the deadline for this amazing competition - please keep those entries sailing in to your year group email inboxes!
The lockdown has given us an opportunity to spend time with family and try news things that maybe we wouldn’t have done otherwise. We want you to carry on with this exciting exploration and give your best effort at completing 50 challenges we have chosen for you to accomplish until we come back to school.
There’s a great range of challenges, with something to suit and test everybody. We want you to really push yourselves though, just like any pioneer does – heading out into new territory! That’s why we’re awarding certificates and prizes to those who complete the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum number levels on our challenge chart.
As you undertake a challenge, try to keep a small piece of evidence for it so that you can share on your pioneering journey when you come back to school. Your evidence might be something you’ve made, a photograph or video, a small explanation or your family signing off your challenge card.
We’re really excited to share your experiences and evidence when you come back to school and we will be putting on special assemblies to do just that (and of course award the certificates!)
You don’t need to sign up, just download the Preston Pioneer 50 challenge card and get going. Don’t forget to keep a log of evidence as you move through as many as you can.
Good luck Preston Pioneers
