School Session Times
We have three Key Stages, Foundation Key Stage, Key Stage 1 (Infant) and Key Stage 2 (Junior). The session times are as follows:
Foundation/KS1 Mornings 8.50 am - 12.00 noon (Registration closes at 9am)
Afternoons 1.00 pm - 3.20 pm
KS2 Mornings 8.50 am - 12.30 pm (Registration closes at 9am)
Afternoons 1.30 pm - 3.20 pm
Each Key Stage has the following break time:
Foundation/KS1 10.10 am - 10.25 am
2.15 pm - 2.30 pm
KS2 10.35 am - 10.50 am
Hours spent on teaching during the week
The school has a Curriculum Framework. This document sets out our long term planning including teaching time allocations for all areas of the curriculum.
Total teaching time per week, excluding collective worship and breaks, is 21 hours 55 minutes for KS1/F and 23 hours 30 minutes for KS2.
