We are delighted to be taking part in this year’s Children’s Mental Health Week to continue to promote the importance of our pupil’s well-being and emotional health. We had such a fantastic involvement in our last event (#HelloYellow) therefore we have no doubt that you will all be excited to take part in this year’s theme – Express Yourself.
Our school's participation will involve an art project called 'This Is Me' where every child will have the opportunity to create their own self-portrait to contribute to a whole school art piece (see explanation on the poster below). We would also love to see you joining in by wearing a fun accessory/hat to Friday's live teams call to take part in 'Express yourself'. We hope this will spread some positivity and smiles.
The Big Garden Birdwatch
The RSPB are running a 'Big Garden Bird Watch' for you to take part in between the 29th-31st January. It is a survey to help the RSPB keep track of our local bird species and to collect data on how many birds are seen by members of the public. All you have to do is go onto the website, sign up to request a survey pack then spend an hour recording any birds that you can see in your garden. For more details please visit the website at
