Residential Trips
All children in Year 6 pupils have the opportunity to go on a residential trip during the Summer term. Pupils have enjoyed trips to PGL at Osmington, Adventure International in Bude and Kilve Court in Somerset.
The trip allows the children to build resilience, independence and experience activities that many have never tried before. Activities may include: kayaking, canoeing, guided walks, caving, high walls and climbing.
In the evenings, all the children come together for a range of evening activities including fancy dress, karaoke and team building games with their peers.
Without question, the experience develops children's self-confidence and encourages them to form new friendships that prepare them for life at secondary school.
