Today we are going to retell the Beginning of the story. In this exercise, we expect the children to think of their own sentences to retell the story from the beginning up to the time when the Shoemaker finds the first pair of shoes.
Encourage your child to think of each sentence and then write it and check it makes sense. Our focus is FULL STOPS please.

ART
Choose your favourite part of the story and take your time to illustrate it, looking closely at the picture .
Colour your picture with pencils or you could even use collage if you have some resources at home.
Maths
We have set you some tasks on MyMaths, please go to the MyMaths website and use your personal logon to complete the tasks assigned to you.
