Outdoor Learning

Each year group here at Preston Primary will have half a term of outdoor learning this academic year. The children will have an hour a week learning in nature in our beautiful school grounds.

 

All of the learning the children take part in is linked to the national curriculum and will give the children the opportunity to learn in different ways and using natural materials wherever possible. These lessons are designed to enhance our school curriculum and be in addition to the content the children learn within other lessons. 

 

The lessons will take place, rain or shine, so the staff and children are encouraged to dress appropriately so that they can take part in these lessons in every type of weather.
