Year Two have been taking part in a wide range of outdoor learning activities. They have learnt about different materials and have used them to make roofs for dens. They have explored nature art and how to use natural objects to make tree faces and how to extract chlorophyll from leaves and flowers to make printed pictures. They have learned to use palm drills and how to whittle sticks to make autumn hanging decorations and used natural dyes, like blackberries, to make pieces of art.
