Let Your Light Shine

Our school motto, ‘Let Your Light Shine’, is taken from St Matthew’s Gospel and embodies our Christian ethos.

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)

It is simple reminder for us all to use the special gifts that God have given us, make a positive impact on others, work together for goodness, and most importantly, reflect Jesus and God's love in all we do. It's like being a bright and positive force in our community the wider world.
